At Villa Acquaviva, we believe that wine is above all a reason to come together. It might be a glass shared in the cellar, a picnic among the vines, a day in the countryside, or a thoughtful experience to give someone you love.
Some places are worth visiting, some wines are worth tasting, and some moments stay with us long after we leave. We hope a visit to Villa Acquaviva can be all three.
Our family has lived and worked on this land since 1985, among vineyards and olive groves in Montemerano, in the heart of southern Tuscany’s Maremma, near the Terme di Saturnia hot springs. We make wine here, but what we most enjoy is welcoming people and sharing our story in a natural, personal way.
Why we love sharing our wines
A tasting is about more than aromas, grape varieties and winemaking techniques. It is also about the seasons, the work in the vineyards, the choices our family makes and the memories behind each bottle.
You do not need any wine knowledge to join us. Bring your curiosity, ask questions and discover what you enjoy. The pleasure of discovery is part of the experience.

A member of our team introduces the wines of our estate, the accompanying food and the Tuscan landscape that gives them their character.
Winemaker Wine Experience
Join me, Fabrizio D’Ascenzi, for a more personal account of our wines, the choices behind them and the history of our family estate.
Both options include the same wine selection and food accompaniments. The difference is who guides your tasting and the perspective they bring. Reservations are required, and you are welcome even if you are not staying at our resort.
